Emergency Phone and Blue Lights

Located throughout USC campuses, the emergency phones and blue lights are connected to Public Safety’s 24-hour communications center. The phones identity the phone’s location are determined if the caller is unable to speak.

If you are one of the many individuals who work, study or take classes at night, you don't have to walk to your car or home alone. The USC Campus Cruiser Service offers either a walking or vehicle escort to your destination.

CAPS/Environmental Health & Safety

CAPS (Career and Protective Services) department provides leadership for developing a safety culture by anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling risks for the USC Campuses and surrounding community. Information is provided on chemical safety, biological safety, radiation safety, laser safety, vehicle safety, occupational safety and health, campus sustainability, environmental affairs, medical surveillance, industrial hygiene, ergonomics and wellness.

When an emergency occurs, the TrojansAlert system allows authorized senders to notify you with instructions and updates using your:

Vehicle Safety

USC is enrolled in DMV’s Pull Notice Program, a program that notifies the University when an employee is involved in a vehicular offense.
